Help with ancient history HSC ?
okk soooo since i started year 12 all ive been doing is studying ancient history. i have learnt Spartan Society, Pompeii and Herculaneum and now im on Ancient Egypt. I sat for exams not long ago and the topics involved were sparta and Pompeii. i literally studied really hard on these exams and got all my information correct. i however, ended up getting a low mark because 'apparently' my teacher sed i answered it wrongly. how is that even possible? first off all everything i studied was from the book. secondly i asked her before the exam over and over about what is included in the exam. i followed what she sed and when i wrote it i failed. how is that even possible? she even sed this and this is what you need to include in the paper. another thing, something is terribly wrong because most students are getting the same marks as me. she is a blabber mouth and doesnt stop talking. she gives us more talk than writing which is totally unnaceptable. and she has the tendency to blame us students by telling us she has taught us how to answer the question a million times. when in the end everyonee disagrees. she also says this is the worst year group ive had. she also sed that 'apprently' no year group before us every failed as bad as us. just to let you know she is an old teacher and she gets confused alot of the time. she has been at my school for many years and she is a doctor within ancient history.\ she also rambles alot and does not slow down. when she talks and when we write she talks to fast we cant take notes properly. i often end up skipping what she says. we tell her to slow down and she doesnt. if i talk to her what should i say? i dont want to offend her in any kind of way. but in year 12 teachers have the ability to 'walk all over you'. but truth is you need to speak your rights :) any adviseee? thankssss everyone
